Dictantor does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

We do not collect:

• Your name • Email address • Location • Contacts • Usage analytics • Advertising identifiers

If you contact us for support, we receive the email address you use and the contents of your message.

We use support communications only to respond to your request and help resolve issues with Dictantor.

Audio recordings, transcripts, summaries, and generated titles are stored locally on your iPhone.

When you record with the Dictantor Apple Watch app, the recording is stored temporarily on your paired Apple Watch and transferred directly to your iPhone using Apple’s system services.

Pending recordings remain on your Apple Watch so the transfer can resume when your iPhone becomes available. After an import is confirmed, the local Watch copy is removed.

Dictantor does not upload recordings from your iPhone or Apple Watch to Dictantor servers or cloud storage.

Recording is performed on the device where you start it. Recordings made on Apple Watch are transferred to your paired iPhone, where transcription and other processing take place.

Transcription, search, automatic titles, and supported AI features are processed directly on your iPhone.

Some AI features are available only on devices that support Apple Intelligence.

Dictantor may request access to:

Used to record audio on your iPhone or Apple Watch, depending on where you start the recording.

Dictantor may use local notifications to let you know when transcription has finished.

These notifications are generated on your device. Dictantor does not send push notification tokens to our servers.

You can revoke notification permission at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Your data is stored locally on your iPhone. A recording made on Apple Watch may also remain temporarily on the Watch while it is pending transfer.

Deleting an imported recording permanently removes its associated audio, transcript, summary, and metadata from the iPhone app.

The current version of Dictantor does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud storage services.

If future versions introduce optional cloud-based AI features, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features become available.

Dictantor is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page.
